Mud, the creator behind OTM Magazine, is documenting his comeback in a new Phoenix-based docu-series, “OTM Vertical Series.” The series captures the real process of rebuilding a media company after prison—starting from nothing and turning the city into a platform for artists, businesses, and culture.

Episode 1, “Feet on Land,” opens in a bare room with just a laptop, a notebook, and a camera. As Mud reflects on losing everything, he begins mapping out his next move—rebuilding OTM into a content-driven media network. When a message from an artist comes through asking if he still shoots videos, the mission becomes clear: the comeback has already started.

What makes this series different is how it integrates local businesses. Instead of traditional ads, brands become part of the story—featured naturally in scenes as real locations where meetings, shoots, and collaborations happen. Each business receives multiple pieces of content from a single shoot, including episode exposure, social media clips, and promotional edits.

Instrumentals featured in the series are now available for PURCHASE

The soundtrack behind the OTM Vert Series is powered by Atlanta producer Trappin N London, known for his work with K Camp and the project “Float 2 London.” As the Executive Music Producer of the OTM Vert Series, Trappin n London provides the official beats used throughout the show, bringing a melodic trap sound that blends smooth vibes with hard-hitting 808s. The same instrumentals featured in the series are now available for artists who want to create their own records using the music from the show. Fans and artists can preview and purchase these beats directly through OTMmag.com, giving independent artists access to industry-level production straight from the soundtrack of the OTM VIRT Series.

This form of advertising connects deeper with audiences because it feels authentic. Viewers aren’t watching ads—they’re watching a real journey, where brands are part of the culture and the grind.

OTM is currently working with Phoenix businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs who want to be featured in upcoming episodes.
